In the November session, our focus will be the nervous system. We will explore the similarities between the nervous system and the mycelial network. This session invites us to get curious about the kind of relationship we might create with the genius-level intelligence of fungi.
Are you aware of hidden powers within our bodies?
Under our skin, there are many mysterious caves, impeccable tunnels,
captivating networks of rivers and whirlpools, spectacular fountains and volcanoes waiting to be discovered...
These events invite you to see your body and health with fresh eyes. Together, we weave storytelling and creativity with the natural sciences, exploring a different part of the body in each session.
Our November gathering turns its attention to our nervous system. We will explore the similarities between the human nervous system and the mycelial network. We will explore the empowering qualities held in the mycelial network within us, guided by tales and creative tools.
This online event is open to all, and you are welcome to join in any month or session.
Stories ignite a light within us and illuminate our inner world. Through the power of imagination, stories make the invisible visible. They especially unlock the doors of the soul.
As our souls are deeply interconnected with our physical bodies, stories can also unlock the doors of the physical body.
In the ‘Stories Cure’ events, each month a traditional tale will spark the light of our imagination. With that light, we will open a door within our bodies and observe the flow of life under our skin through the lens of stories.

In the first session we will focus on immune health. We will journey into the tale of the Fountain of Youth, a legendary tale of endless renewal and vitality.
Through storytelling, we will uncover how the thymus gland, like the mythical fountain, holds the power to rejuvenate and refresh, connecting us to the ancient wisdom of our bodies.
In the Stories Cure March session, we will explore the Hearth—where Heart and Earth come together. Our guides will be stories from Inuit and Hawaiian cultures, where heart health is deeply connected to the land.
Through storytelling, we will uncover how the human heart acts as an enormous magnet, attracting abundance and vitality, and connecting us to the ancient wisdom of our bodies and the land.
In this online event we will focus on the tongue. The tongue is the most sophisticated muscle in our body and when used consciously it acts as a bridge between spirit and matter. In these times when freedom of speech has been challenged and many native tongues are on the verge of extinction, I find it especially important to cultivate a healthy relationship with our tongues. As always, stories will lead the way. A Kenyan folktale and a Greek myth will be our guides in this session. Through storytelling, we will uncover how the tongue shapes emotional expression, allowing our soul to express itself freely and joyfully.
In this online event, we will explore the throat as an enchanting flute of truth and the thyroid gland as a vital centre for creative expression.
As always, stories will lead the way. A West African folktale and a personal story from my life will guide us. Through storytelling and embodied creative practices, we will uncover how the throat and thyroid gland awaken our inner voice, helping the body live and speak in alignment with truth.
In the September session, we will imagine the skull as a cave of ancient memories. The skull isn’t just a protective shield for the brain; it is a delicate design of interlaced bones, tunnels and chambers of varying size. These bones and openings can awaken ancestral memory and timeless wisdom within us. As always, tales and creative tools will guide our way.
This month, we will be exploring the spine as a sky-bound tree: its roots anchored in the ground of our being, its trunk carrying energy upward, and its crown opening to the air.
Across many traditions, the spine is seen as a vessel linking earthly life-force with a wider awareness of the universe. We will gather to sense the fiery marrow of life flowing through the spine.
Our focus this month is the hips. We will explore how the hips are honoured as a seat of power: How they support us in moving through the world with confidence, and in expressing freedom, sensuality, and vitality.
In the March session, we will journey into two folktales from Northern Europe. Through storytelling, we will explore the ribcage as the harp of the body – the place where breath, feeling and voice meet. Ribs are a protective nest for the heart and lungs. Across traditions, the chest is where grief, love and courage live. This session invites us to breathe, to soften, and to remember: sorrow can create beautiful music.
